The Black Canadians Food Security and Climate Change Association is dedicated to advancing equitable access to safe, nutritious, and culturally appropriate food while promoting climate-resilient and sustainable agricultural practices. Through community engagement, research, education, and advocacy, we empower Black communities across Canada—starting from our headquarters in Calgary, Alberta—to build food sovereignty and contribute to climate change solutions.

Purposes
To relieve food insecurity by providing access to food and supporting sustainable food systems in Black Canadian communities.
To advance education on climate change, food systems, and environmental sustainability.
To undertake and support research related to climate change and food security.
To advance environmental protection through community-based initiatives.
To provide programs and partnerships that support equitable access to food and climate resilience.
